Ask Someone

Day two of 2014– THPL is just getting going.  We are working our plan and our goals.  With the New Year we reset our prior year accomplishments and come to realize that we are starting from a virtual standstill on our 2014 goals.  And so we make the first push towards meeting our goals - we need to start putting up some numbers, making sure to build momentum, to help ensure that we will make 2014 awesome.  And yet, while this is a great way to start the New Year, we owe it ourselves that, when we think about THPL, we must consider that our actions and involvement is as much about community as it is about personal accomplishment.  Thus it seems like it would be a fitting step along our THPL journey to get others connected or linked or minimally visiting from time to time.  The suggestion is that over the remainder of the month, when you find someone whom you think might be interested in being part of the THPL community that you reach out to them and introduce them to the idea of focusing on Life, Learning and Fitness and how THPL can help them achieve their own improved performance.

So, while we all have our individual goals outlined, for 2014, I think it appropriate to add one more goal for this year.  The goal is to increase the size of the THPL community.  We need not focus on a total number of invites or new members – we just need to make a sincere effort to share what we have found and why we think THPL would be great for them and how it could become a core part of how they live which we know will help them to fund out that they can do more than they think they can.

Loving life and reaching out to others
