Relaxing – def. “Rest or engage in an enjoyable activity so as to become less tired or anxious”. So, that is the definition of Relaxing? Wow! I call it vindication (do I need to define that?) – why, you might ask? Well I have been told more than a few times that I need to relax. I am not sure that my friends realized that “engage” is part of the definition. And it seems appropriate, then, that I define relaxing as doing something. So, the next time I am told to relax I can follow their directions and go and do something. Even if they fully expect me to “rest” to become less tired.
Not sure if it is THPL or just me who look to the other side of doing nothing as relaxing. The more I do the more I get relaxed. I know this does not work for everyone so I have evolved my point of view such that everyone in THPL community should find their own way to relax. Once you know how to relax you need to know when to relax. And, it is recommended that when you get the opportunity to relax you do appreciate it.
